101 true facts among other things
Well, if you happened to have read Charlie’s, Reese’s or Melissa’s blogs lately you would have noticed (or should have) that all three have something in common. Apart from the fact that they are blogs, they are friends, they’re all from PEI etc… the connection is in a post. All three blogs which I read more or less faithfully have recently (in the reverse order seen above) had a post containing 101 true facts about themselves. This is a fantastic idea and one I think everyone should do. Self evaluation, as long as it’s not constant is a great idea. It allows one to see the truth about where they are on their journey and the possible directions that are possible in the visible future. And so, I too have decided to use this idea and do such a post right here on acov. I say ‘use the idea’ because I do not intend to write a list. Rather I am going to strive for a more story kind of style. As i hear it now, it is third person, kind of story style, but I’m not entirely sure yet. hmmm….could be journal style too. The point is though that it will contain 101 true facts about Nick. These are probably one of the most interesting things to read, about others and about yourself, they show you things on both fronts that you never knew about people you have ‘known’ for a long time.
I just had a massage from a masseurin that comes every thursday. Ein Träum!
I am typing this on the laptop that my host family has given me for the duration of my stay with them. Brand new and really nice.
I am making tuna salad sandwiches for the family tonight, and tuna melts for whoever wants one. This should be interesting.
