I

Well, I have an equation that you will never learn in school, but one which will bring you unending happiness and zero frustration if you can remember it. Library+Computers = SHIT! Translated from mathematics to English that means, “The computers in the Gray’s library are worthless pieces of crapola”. It has been brought to my attention that in my previous post there was an unusual amount of spelling errors. Well, when was the last time you tried typing on a computer that lagged behind the key strokes by about 15 seconds. That’s like trying to talk and thinking a full topic ahead of what you’re actually saying, it gets pretty confusing after a while =P. Not only was the typing slow, the computer decided to die three different times in 50 min…that must be some sort of record.

The school has been having a lot of trouble with students vandalizing the computers in the library. I have always thought of this as an immature action and have looked down upon it. However, after actually using one for about 50 min (the length of time it took to do my last post with the craptacular keyboard) I have come to the realization that vandalism is probably the best thing for those pieces of junk! I was dangerously close to snapping the keyboard over my knee and throwing the monitor into the nearest available wall. I can’t imagine how frustrating it must be if those are the only computers available to you.

Anyway, my computer rage has basically subsided now, and I won’t resort to throwing things hopefully.

P.S- I realize that we are lucky to have computers, and that I am an arrogant prick for ranting and raving about the free service we get from the school (however shitty). I know that there are many places where kids would like a school, let alone computers.

I accept this.

Nick.

I remember in grade 10 the computer you were using crashed because it didn’t have enough RAM to copy and paste. And then Ms. Galle got all pissy at you and said that if it was broken you would need to pay for it.

PS: That photo of the day is nasty. Either you’re hotlinking, or you just have bad artistic taste in photos.

No one should ever have to see that. I have removed your comment, sorry Rene, thanks for the heads up about my grotesque mistake with the picture.
