A Beginning, and an Ending
I have decided to become the proverbial white sheep. I shall join the flock and create a blog, the beginning of which you are reading. The purpose of this blog is to share my experiences - during the huge changes which will occur in my life in the next year - in the hope that they will be of some aid somehow to someone or in the very least be a little entertaining. I am leaving one stage of my life and moving to another, both tangibly and intangibly (at least to the onlooker). I am literally moving, to Austria, for the next year, but I am also moving into a different part of my life. This blog will hopefully be an account of this trip (if I can be dedicated to keep it up) and my outlooks and perspectives as a youth trying to find some meaning amidst the flurry of activity in and around me. This blog will serve as an outlet for some steam in the form of rants as well as some thoughts on the accounts I will post about my trip and the movement in my life. As well as being a connection I hope to keep with friends while I am away, I hope this will serve as a place to make new connections. Any answers to the questions I am sure to pose about life’s great mysteries are, of course, welcome.
To sign off for the first time I apologize in advance for any grammar, spelling or general poor language skills you may see in English, German or French (I am only currently learning German in preparation for Austria, but I am sure to use all three languages throughout the blog to be since I love all of them).
